I think they have some good wings though I was disgusted with the Cajun flavor rub. It was a weird texture and it tasted burnt, not sure what was going on but would not get again. The Blundells opened their second concept, FreeMore Tavern, in Wesley Heights, offering only 12 beers on draft and the same menu. Ed’s Tavern renamed itself as Bourbon N Burgers in 2017, but the change didn’t sit well with customers. The owners rebranded back to Ed’s after only a few months.
Now the company is ready to expand the brand to a second location. The duo is currently renovating the space to make it look like the other locations. At least 98 officers were shot in the line of duty from January through March, according to the Fraternal Order of Police, an organization representing US law enforcement officers. “I can’t remember an incident where three law enforcement officers were killed in the same incident, as well as one in critical condition and additional (officers) that were shot and injured,” Jennings said. The officers were met with gunfire from a “high-powered rifle” and returned fire, fatally shooting the suspect.

The police chief described the shooting as “the most tragic one” he had been involved with in his 32-year-long law enforcement career. The internal law enforcement memo gives a detailed outline of Monday’s shooting, revealing law enforcement agents approached the suspect outside of a home. The shooting in Charlotte happened as members of a US Marshals fugitive task force were serving a warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the Shannon Park neighborhood, Jennings said. “I ask that all Charlotteans keep them, the other injured officers, and their families in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time,” Lyles said. Another officer, Justin Campbell, broke his foot and was released from the hospital Tuesday morning after being treated, according to a release from the police department.

Both were 14-year veterans of the department assigned to the task force. Three members of the marshals’ task force were fatally shot, Jennings said. One of those killed was a deputy US marshal, 48-year-old Thomas M. Weeks, who is survived by his wife and four children, according to the US Marshals Service. Jennings said 12 CMPD officers fired their weapons during the incident, all of whom have been placed on administrative leave pending a standard officer-involved shooting investigation. It first hit the scene in 2013 as a Lip Cheat lip liner shade that left the impression of being a universally flattering pink tone. After the shade gained popularity, the brand made a lipstick version of it as part of its Matte Revolution line in 2017, and the rest is history.
